Our Baby & Me physiotherapy service is designed to help mothers take control of their post-natal recovery and enjoy their baby’s developmental journey. Our experienced and knowledgeable physiotherapists work with you and your baby to help you regain confidence in your body, safely return to exercise and feel empowered with knowledge of what you and your baby need to optimise your recovery and their development - all in the comfort of your own home.

We know that every mum, baby and family is different, and that’s why our team is passionate about designing a personalised approach that works for you and your baby within your daily routine and home environment.

Our team of physiotherapists specialise in paediatric development and post-natal recovery, and are the only local, in-home consultants to offer joint mother and baby services, with just one cost for you and your baby.

Our experienced team will develop an exercise plan specifically designed just for you, to help aid your post-partum recovery, as well as providing expert assessment and advice to help optimise your baby’s development.

• Expert assessment by highly experienced physiotherapist for you and your baby in the comfort of your own home

• Development of a personalised exercise prescription designed to optimise your post-natal recovery using household items and equipment you already have around the house

• Personalised consultation on your baby’s development and progression towards milestones

• Ergonomic assessment of daily routine activities, such as positions for breast and bottle feeding, lifting and carrying baby, moving the capsule into/out of the car etc

• Information and advice on ways you can enjoy developmental play with your baby

Your Investment…

Firefly is the only Hunter-based, in-home physiotherapy service to offer joint consultations with one cost for you and your baby. As a registered provider, Firefly’s services are also covered by Private Health Funds – contact your insurer to find out more about your applicable rebate.

• 90-minute in-home initial assessment              - $225

• 60-minute follow up consultation                      - $175

Firefly works closely with other health and wellness professionals and will always recommend the course of treatment best suited to an individual. We have a fantastic network of complementary providers within the Newcastle and Hunter Region and will happily provide referrals and recommendations to these exceptional practitioners should we not be best suited to providing care for you or your baby.
